Understand, Support & Reconnect With Yourself

Psychotherapy, Embodied Awareness, Movement and Breath

prāṇa (प्राण) is the Sanskrit word for breath, and is considered the life-giving force, the universal energy that flows within and among us, connecting us with all other living beings

A mind–body approach to wellbeing

Welcome, I’m Giulia, a psychologist, yoga teacher, activist, and the founder of Prana Holistic Health - a project born from my interest in deepening our understanding of ourselves and how we relate to the world around us, with the aim of living a more harmonious life.

With a holistic approach to mental wellbeing, I recognise that meaningful change can happen through different pathways. Thus, through psychotherapy, mindfulness, movement and group experiences, I aim to create spaces that invite self-awareness, growth and connection.

Giulia Bertone, founder of Prana Holistic Health
A holistic approach means recognising that our mental, emotional, physical and social experiences are interconnected, while understanding that different people may benefit from different practices at different points in time.

Embodied practices, such as Yoga, can offer another way of developing awareness and connection. Yoga brings together movement, breathing and attention in a way that can support both physical and psychological wellbeing.

Reflections from clients and students

“Wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the session yesterday. It’s not everyday I can be mindful and stay focused on what the trainer / coach is explaining but you got my full attention! Prosit, and a big thank you.”

L.Z - Mindful Living Course Participant

"I used to view yoga as something I have to achieve - something that I have to get better at. Through your classes I found another perspective. Now I use yoga to connect with my soul and my inner self. I use it to find peace. This year has been very difficult for me, and your classes were one of the few places where I found peace."

M.F  - Yoga Student

“I wanted to tell you thank you for your classes, I really enjoy them and you are a fantastic teacher. Always looking forward and it is super helpful for me too, to get out of my comfort zone”

C.G - Yoga Student

“For me it was a biiiiiiiig step to join a class since I’m passing through some mental health issues atm. I really made a big effort as my psychotherapist kept suggesting this but I was too shy. So thank you very much.”

"Grazzi ħafna. Il-ġenerożita tiegħek tfisser id-dinja għalija.
Li għamilt int kien speċjali u kien apprezzat ħafna wkoll. Grazzi ta’ kulma għamilt.”

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you. Your patience, understanding and gentleness have meant more to me than I can really put into words. I have always felt safe talking to you about my pains and fear and you never judged, but you helped me understand them and I felt a little less alone. It truly made a difference in my life and that’s because of the care you bring into this work.

I’m really grateful for you.

“Dearest Giulia, this has been the hardest, most challenging and uncomfortable course of therapy I’ve ever done, and I’ve done plenty. It has also been the most transformative, impactful and honest. Thank you for your patience and openness, your perseverance and care. I am so grateful to you for teaching me so much and helping me to embark on a new journey of growth and self acceptance.”

C.L - Psychotherapy Client

“Thank you for your outstanding dedication and care. Your compassion and kindness have made a real difference in my life. I can’t thank you enough for keeping me in good health”
